many thousands kill the dream.
They would sink the tiny isles,
of this world that we've kept clean.

Sick of being second.
Second place,
Second rate,
Second pick.

They sit and watch and wonder why
I will not ever close my eyes
And pause the world to rest a while
To liven up my tired smile

Kill me now you cruel vixen!
Take my life, but not my heart
Never again shall you twist my love
And dance upon my heartstrings
...

I look at my mortality,
and that of all that is.
From the children playing happily,
to the ocean's deep abyss.

Oh star my bright!
I fear the night,
that hollow place within.
And in my mind,

As the mist begins to clear,
I find so do my thoughts,
As in the night I sit here,
