Cruel And Unusual Love Poem by Enrico Orbita

Cruel And Unusual Love

Kill me now you cruel vixen!
Take my life, but not my heart
Never again shall you twist my love
And dance upon my heartstrings
For such music I cannot bear to hear
Take thy beak from out my heart
You horrid, hurtful raven
Slay me with anything but your words
And leave my heart alone!
You killer queen! You wicked witch!
I will be your plaything no longer
I would not lose my sovereign self
To entertain your wretched mind
Your beautiful mind
Your luscious lips
Your fair skin
Please let me go
I'm lost without you
But I'm dying here with you
I don't want to die
