Artistically scarred
Beautifully broken
Each shattered piece
A most precious token

Slipping away
like water through my fingers
funny how sweet memories bring
pain that tends to linger

If words were not so fragile
and loyalty not so rare
would literature hold a right to compare?

So fleeting a flutter
an unconscious glimpse
of visions that utter
lost rememberence
