i breathed the air that she also inhaled
'twas a blessing

Steaming and screaming while dreaming
My thoughts were so;
Trying but dying to hell flying
My spirit was low
...

Shall I compare you to a red rose
Or else a charming lily purely white
For wherever thy magnetic soul goes
My heart follows but with blind delight
...

I love thy magnetic smile always to see
Of your seraphic smile were you ever told?
For of one thing all the angels can agree
That many would be bankrupt if your smile you sold
...

When thoughts have but my young mind possessed
When I muse with admiration for such a sight
When I worship the beauty in which you are dressed
When I mistake the day but for the night
...

One dark, dreary and dull earthly night
At the starry sky I sat down to stare
Not that admired I did the stars’ light
But to see which star like you was fair
...

I wrote thy name on the waters of the sea
But why? The water did evaporate
But still it wasn’t a dream by me
Thy crystal beautiful name to forget
...

She came back; on my door knocking
Or then should i embrace this breath
That had left me hopeless, choking
That then i humbled myself before death
...

She died
but her breath, her fragrance remained
her lovely voice in my mind detained
her deep love my pure heart had stained
...

I thought of love
That had me of lately possessed
That my speech with flattery was dressed
That I shook when her form I embraced
