Then starlings at the brook do sip, playing joyfully
In thankful chorus

From panes gazing, here I wonder
My pew imbued by your luminescent glow
Shall I see beyond your threshold window
Where rays discover the nakedness of secrets and the true colour of my nature is reflected in passers-by

I cry out to you in the morning hours
My soul is in deep strain because the temptations clamour for my soul
My love for you is unbending as a javelin in mid air
Thrown towards the mark that it shall not miss
...

O free men from lands afar, where freedom reigns
Do hinder not such, as seek the same
Bruised spirits, minds scarred, broken and frail
Clinging fast to masts on ships, in flight set sail
