I honestly don't know what to put here.
I'm 16 and I've been writing poetry for about 3 years. Most of you probably know my uncle, Pirate Love. Seriously, he's my uncle, and he's very good. Check him out.
What got me interested in writing poetry was the power and inspiration of love. It's vexation is a very powerful one and it's by far MY greatest inspiration. (And also, my ... more »

Listen To The Sunset
Listen to the sunset Can you hear it's quiet sigh? Listen the sun is falling Watch it toning down the sky
Falling For You
On a summer's day long, long ago I fell in love and I'll never know Just what it was that made me feel So drawn to her, what the appeal
Flying With You
I close my eyes and I smile Knowing you will be there to see. I watch you smiling and I can't help But to let out a laugh of joy
A Few Colours
When the soft morning light is breaking And the sweet quiet world is shaking I will be thinking of you. When the night sky slowly starts to fade
In My Dreams
Last night, you were in my dreams. We were on the bridge overlooking the river. The wind was entangled in your hair And your eyes held the fading sunlight.
In The Days Before I Loved You
In the days before I loved you Things weren't so great The kids at school all laughed at me My life was full of hate.
I am lost without you. I am soulless A drifter without a home A solitary bird in a flight
Omnia Vincit Amor
Before I met you, life seemed to stand still Moving one step forward and two steps back My temper outrageous, my mind was ill All forms of happines I seemed to lack.
Never Will I
Never will I kiss a pair of lips Without wishing they were yours. Never will I get a hug Without wishing it was your embrace.
To My Girlfriend In The Hospital
I miss you, my darling, As I always do But today is especially hard Because the walls are singing to me
If love asks a question, do not deceive The truth's the only answer I'll believe. If my heart should open, love, do not fear
Twinkle, Twinkle, You're My Star
Twinkle, twinkle, you're my star Look how beautiful you are. Up on top the world so high
The Firing Squad
Line the gunmen, one by one A lonely soul in front About to pay for what he's done; His one treacherous stunt.
Nothing Can Compare
Heaven's light can not shine As bright as that of your smile. Hell's fire can not be as hot As the fire lit when we kiss.

Listen To The Sunset
Listen to the sunset
Can you hear it's quiet sigh?
Listen the sun is falling
Watch it toning down the sky
Soon darkness shall surround me
Though twinkling stars will dare shine through
While you are far away from me
They'll frown a humble hue.
And as the sunset spreads its colours
Horizons of gold and red
I lie here all too much alone
In this great vast, chilling bed.
For my world has stopped revolving
Until you return, time's standing still
And the cold has settled round me
With its stinging breathless chill.
But my love for you...
