Never Will I Poem by Zac Plague

Never Will I

Never will I kiss a pair of lips
Without wishing they were yours.
Never will I get a hug
Without wishing it was your embrace.
Never will I see a smile
Without seeing your face doing the same.
Never will I see a star twinkle
Without picturing them as your eyes.
Never will I feel the wind agains my face
Without remembering your hair.
And the scent that the wind carries
Will bring to my mind the sweet aroma of you.
I will never gaze upon the moon
Without seeing your face glow just as bright.
I will never hold a hand
Without wishing it was yours, which brought to me
Peace and tranquility and happiness.
I will never hear a whisper
Without the wind carrying your own.
Never will I hear a laugh
Without being reminded of the good times we had
Spen longing to see each other.
Never will I walk a road
Without having the night I walked you home in mind.
Never will I hear the words, 'I love you, '
Without wishing it was you that said them.
