A Few Colours Poem by Zac Plague

A Few Colours

Rating: 5.0

When the soft morning light is breaking
And the sweet quiet world is shaking
I will be thinking of you.
When the night sky slowly starts to fade
Your soft eyes I will begin to shade
In a lovely hue of blue.

When the sunlight is barely peaking
And all around, the clouds are sneaking
Your name I'll softly bellow.
The solemn tone will softly whisper
Across the sky that's getting crisper
With a pale shade of yellow.

When the stars illuminate the sky
And angels carol while demons cry
You will step into scene.
Envy envelops all of the men
As I depict you, my lovely sin
With a final tone of green.

I like the beginning lines and your thoughts emcompassing the complete day and night. The contrasts add shading to the color. I particularly like the clouds are sneaking And angels carol while demons cry
