The Best Poem Of Victor Hudson

Shakespeare

Lord's chosen Eden was a finest place
Of milk and honey at the golden shores,
There pretty birds, engaged in merry chase,
Sang jolly songs from lofty sycamores;
Unlike Old England over northern seas:
Her creatures long abandoned Paradise,
No gaudy palms contested common trees,
Nor mighty peaks upset uncertain skies.
And yet, amidst green meadowlands
Occured a miracle, inspired by divine, -
Shakespeare was born! rejoice, good friends,
And ever wonder, how in no time
     He changed this world by poetry alone;
     Though bones are dust, his spirit isn't gone.
