Chiquita-Banana Poem by Victor Hudson

Chiquita-Banana

Another bawdy folk song.
The faint-hearted and women may skip this one.)))))

I grew up on the banana tree
In extended family,
Twenty inches, three across,
People say my papa was a horse.

   Chicki-chicki-chicki-chicki-chicki-ta,
   Chicki-chicki-chicki-chicki-chicki-ta,
   Twenty inches, three across,
People say my papa was a horse.

Take me, mama, I'm good,
Ever tasted such delicious fruit?
Peel me gently, hold me tight,
I will bring you paradise tonight.

    Chicki-chicki-chicki-chicki-chicki-ta,
    Chicki-chicki-chicki-chicki-chicki-ta,
Peel me gently, hold me tight,
I will give you paradise tonight.
