Teresa Reck Poems

Abandoned on the streets so cold
hurt and lonely no one to hold
my only warmth from this white dove
a solitary being that shows me love
...

Red sky at night
shepherds delight
red sky in morning
a mothers warning
...

3.

Alone with my thoughts
Alone through the night
Alone with my wishes
Alone dreams you ignite
...

A sweet and tender lingering kiss
will bring a smile upon her face
a love you share together as one
she is breathless in your embrace
...

Beauty shines from her eyes
so kind and gentle a soul
as you hear her soft whisper
spoken words make you feel whole
...

Swaying gently in the breeze
poppies galore blooming with ease
raising their heads up to the sky
smiling widely certainly not shy
...

Plant a tree and watch her grow
rising upwards high to the sky
emerald leaves so shiny and green
flourishing with abundant supply
...

I saw a shimmering butterfly
fluttering in the sunlight
her wings a sight of beauty
filling me with such delight
...

Reach out your hand to me
I will help you through the night
you have no need to suffer alone
I can help you through this plight
...

White spray splashes the rocks
salt air flying in the sky
the rush of the waves
A sight no money could buy
...

A rose like no other
held gently in my palm
silken petals so red
caress my skin and embalm
...

From the very first time our lips met
I knew she would be mine to seduce
tender kisses I leave on her hair
framing her face stray tendrils so loose
...

This pit is full of dark voices
sucking me deeper and deeper within
arms reaching out to pull at me
my fight with the darkness will begin
...

Time stood still this summers day
I asked her the ultimate question
and offered her the key to my heart
she looked at me with a sad expression
...

Paradise is a world
where wishes can come true
spend time in this haven
and banish the blues
...

A fragrance lies upon the air
awakening senses of the geisha
jasmine drifting on the breeze
and blossoming sweet rose acacia
...

A vast emptiness surrounds me
when I look out over the sea
filling my mind full of dread
until my body feels like lead
...

This is a place I can feel at peace
my haven from which I seek a release
dip my toes into the water so cool
enjoy my time from a life so cruel
...

Let me erase away your many tears
abolish from your mind any fears
a beautiful face should always smile
never show a frown that is hostile
...

Everything I touch
turns to dust
grey as a world
without the sun
...

The Best Poem Of Teresa Reck

Abandoned

Abandoned on the streets so cold
hurt and lonely no one to hold
my only warmth from this white dove
a solitary being that shows me love

How long will I sit here I do not know
will anyone miss me even say hello
my tears will fall in a steady stream
hopefully I awake and find it a dream

This young heart of mine feels so sad
I know I am mischievous not really bad
so why am I left here all alone
not tucked up in bed safe and at home

It will soon be night and very dark
the ravens are waiting to make their mark
is there anyone about who gives a care
or are they as cold as the icy air
