Tara Danielle Garcia Poems

Maybe it was the way you said it
or the way you walked away
Maybe it was the way it struck me
or how you had nothing left to say
...

(A quick little poem I wrote for my best friend)

I see your pain
I feel your emotion
...

(Another quick poem for my best friend)

I love it when you open up to me
Cause you know I'll never judge
...

You look at me,
my heart shatters on the floor
how could this be?
you said you love me once more?
...

[a poem my best friend wrote for me (she's quite the poet) ]

Tonight there is no need for you to breathe,
Tonight I will draw your air,
...

Every minute, every hour...I think about it
Everytime I try to tell you no words seem to fit

So I'll explain it to you the best way I can
...

You insist I should'nt do this
You think I am wrong
You say you love me
You tell me to be strong
...

The Best Poem Of Tara Danielle Garcia

My Poor Broken Heart

Maybe it was the way you said it
or the way you walked away
Maybe it was the way it struck me
or how you had nothing left to say

I love you..how can you do this
please... just dont
just dont forget how much i loved you
cause i promise you i wont

I was supposed to love you
you were supposed to love me..
That was in the past..
its over already cant you see

How the hell can you be so straight up about this
do you even care?
to tell you the truth..not as much
dont give me that empty glare

just look me in the eyes
and say you love her more
what does it matter
he heads toward the door

please dont leave me like this
i cant go on without you...
I guess you'll have to learn..
Cause i've found someone new.

I fall to the floor after he leaves
crying in my hands
i take a few weeks worth of valiums
the cup shatters as it lands..

i watched the peices scatter around me
and i reach for the sharpest part
I hold it up to my wrist...
let myself slip away..my poor broken heart.
