My Calling Poem by Tara Danielle Garcia

My Calling

You insist I should'nt do this
You think I am wrong
You say you love me
You tell me to be strong

I believed you before
i thought you had meant it all
I had cherished every thought of you
And all I did was fall

And did you pick me up?
Were you there for me?
Did you think twice about even helping me?
Apparently not you just stood there laughing silently.

I screamed for you to help me
I cried for you to grab me
I watched you walk away
I whispered you didnt love me? ...

Now you want me to stay here?
You want me to keep falling?
But I cant fall anymore.
And suicide's my calling...
