Outrage Poem by Jake Tadla

Outrage

Chest bones more closer
Breathing’s minimal, yet faster.
Both hands and feet’re shaking
Li’l vengeance in the making.

Gasping for more air
Tiny world’s not fair.
This room’s too small for us
I’d rather be kickin’ some dust.

Never a day ended happy
Every dawn brought blurry.
Sun’s rays have not the chance
Reveal a blissful laugh and a dance.

Tears too shallow to outpour
Confused on how to shout my sore.
Fury continuously building up
Unimagined end, when to stop.

Every corner is always limited
Eyes cannot land on just any bread
Without the terrors of throat
Problems settled to float.

Outrageous.

Furious.

Not for irate’s sake…

Fist off.
