The noisiest and busiest town
Yet I can feel solemnity.

These clouds, they’re so vague, I can’t see.
And down there- the sea,
So thick and blue black.
Is this how clear your love for me?

It drains the darkness away;
This reality is absent in me for a while.
Through the seeming presence of the air
And the vastness of the sea.

Ambot ug asa, ngano ug gi-unsa,
Nga pag-abot sa panahon nga aduna na koy buot
Mao na man kini ang akong nahibaw-an.
Ug nahadlok gayud ako, kay bata pa lagi.

Kung may kambyo-
Gamay man o dako, ga-an o bug-at,

As if a newly born angel,
Delivered with great pain.
