Out Of Your Mind Poem by Linda Ori

Out Of Your Mind

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes there are things that just have to change
When you're swimming upstream in your life
Your head keeps on banging that hard cement wall
Till it just doesn't work anymore
The things you were hoping for just don't pan out
No matter how hard you keep trying
Then one day a light shines through all of the crap
And you wonder just what you were thinking
So, how many hours have you wasted in limbo
While your life has been passing you by?
You don't have forever to figure it out
So just take a deep breath now and fly!

Linda, You DO know that the head is not going to win against the wall ... right? SO, if you decide on flight ... fly far enough away! B.V.A.

This one is a cousin of Enlightenment I'd guess, but goes straight for the jugular - seems to spring more from frustration than the contemplation which produced Enlightenment, but is no less effective for that. Another little pearl of wisdom from that powerful mind. xx jim

An inspiring poem with well thought out feelings of regret of lost time and hope for the future.
