RAJESH DEY Poems

I am

a robe crumpled
an unsettling heart
...

I AM ON AN UPHILL RIDE
WHAT WITH THE PAST
MIRED IN MISERY
SQUALOR, TEARS AND TANTRUMS
...

No qualms about being alone
Fortune God bestowed
To taste benediction of self reliance
And grappling truth solitary and alone
...

Where were you these days?
Away from the azure sky

Possibly indulged in a mundane
...

5.

THAT NIGHT I FLEW INTO A RAGE
I HISSED, I FROWNED MIMICKING RAVANAS PROUD OUTBURSTS
I GNAWED MY TEETH, I SWORE
YOU GOT FRIGHTENED AT THE DEADLOCK
...

That night you fell down
You turned your position
To the other side of the table
You were not to assuage and comfort
...

Why did you melt so much?
I only wished you melt a little
Around the corners in the middle
And manage in the world
...

Salutations to thee!
Oh my near and dear brother
We have not seen god
But we have your god-like personality
...

MOTHER GANGES

You are an entity elders sang paeans about
I thought you are one of that stuff
...

My momma has gonna old
She feels forsaken, abandoned
Don’t harangue why doth she?
Everyone just has similar experiences
...

The Best Poem Of RAJESH DEY

Incompleteness

I am

a robe crumpled
an unsettling heart
a restive mind on incessant chatter
an unexpressed love
an unshared expenditure
an inchoate story
a prayer given up half-way
an unmelting kindness
a personalised fear
