you are the man the wild and evil
you are the woman the wife and devil

At times she laughed out her sorrows,
and saved her words for the morrows.
At times she cried out her happiness,
and saved her sighs in loneliness.

What lightened the days or darkened the nights
the rising sun or the hiding moon
none paused and gave a thought
Why the mountains kept still and the skys moving
...

Nothing interests me in this world,
neither life nor betrayal.
Nothing pleases me nor my soul,
neither rise nor fall.
...

65 years of freedom
of speech of democracy
of truth of non-violence
65 years of freedom
...

Through the vast chambers as you see,
the lights of heaven cast upon me.
A light of hope they seem to be,
a ray laden of shadow within me.

And come to me oh royal queen,
shall i whisper into you my need.
Hide me unto your darkness wide,
hold me beneath your silver wings.
