Your Smile Poem by Gabriela Walby

Your Smile

Rating: 4.5

To see you smile is like to see a rose blooming in the sun
It's like to walk on a green grass path in a rose garden
where vivid roses grow in the glare of sunlight
where on a warm summer day I walked
feeling your smile with each soft step
deep within my hoping heart

Your smile, just like the sun,
brightens darkness and warms the cold around
Happiness is just a moment
when the edges of your lips go up
and shine like sun rays on your face
so delicate and charming as a rose petal

If only your smile could shine for me all the time
happiness would be an eternity
not just a moment that comes and goes by...

Beautiful love poem elegantly penned in poetic diction from inner recesses of the heart. A lovely depiction of the infectious smile of loved one written with conviction. Thanks for sharing Gabriela. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
