a picture perfect portraid
captivated by the viewer
seen from the eyes of the beholder
is nothing more than sinister lies
a caption frozen in time
is blurred through these eyes
they have confused illusion with reality
Created upon a burden
Deplete the life from our souls
Drain every essence that remains
and wash away the sins that have been created

The pain has now subsided
sunk away into the darkness of shadows
waiting for the moment
when it will be free once more
controlling your darkest desires
contorting you into something that you are not
But hold your breath darling
because the water is rising
Hold onto the last precious moment that you had
because everything will soon be lost

Count down the seconds
untill you will be no more
your existence has left a tarnished mark
upon this world
Your vain shallow concept of what you should have been
ruined everything so it seems.
i counted the days
till you an i were no more

Your dragged me down with you
i tried to save you
But how could i save you, when babe you couldn't even save your self
swallow your words
because they mean nothing to me
Your promised me dreams
but you gave me nightmares
Your promised me love
But you left me in this prison of solitude
I promised you everything
and left you with a broken heart
Its amusing how everything turned out
and it pains me to say
but you are the reason why i breath this way.
