A Classical Tale Poem by Teigan Klippel

A Classical Tale

Rating: 5.0

sing me a song of sorrow
sing me a song of love
Make me forget the way it used to feel
and take my hand
and we can dance our way through these trees
We can dance forever
and i can laugh like i once used to
But these feelings of old
are opening new wounds
Sing me a song of laughter
Sing me a song of pain
and we'll count these stars just like we used to
Heed my words
Heed them with caution
So take my hand
and we we'll dance like lovers
Lost in time.
