Mom
we use to be close
i told you everything
from sad to blue

We use to be friends
now we fight without end
I want it to stop

I want this to end
I want to know your proud
I want to feel wanted again

but we push each other away
day after day
we scream and holler

our communication is shot
our love thinning
our tolerance gone
no one is winning

Why can't we let go?
The past behind us
I just want to be your little girl again
