There is this girl in my chest
People says she's my inner beauty
I feel the need to correct them and say

'she is not close to beauty
she is far from an angel
She is a devil.'

She makes me feel pain
after being happy
Makes me depressed
after watching you walk away

She claws at my soul
she wants to escape
I don't know if I can hold her much longer

She's been locked up for years
feasting on my tears
and the fresh scars in my heart

I want her to leave
just not in a form
I wana banish her from earth
Send her into space.

I want her to end
Her life to be finished
Her hunger to disintegrate

She's locked up behind my blue eyes
Look closely, can't you see her
lurking there, waiting for you to break me
for me to cry, waiting til I die.
