You Need To Do More - Today
I saw my old friend Cal today, in the North Street plasma line
He has to give so he can live, his life so different from mine
I watched him gab with his donor friends, they all looked just like him
Weary spirits and well worn souls, their eyes so very dim
It broke my heart to see him there, a fate beyond his fault
For Cal was a guy who gave it a try, a man well worth his salt
As I drove away with my great concern, God seemed to speak and say
Your broken heart is just a start, you need to do more - today.

Nice to read something that inspired by someone yet you wish for great thing for that person...amazing friendship or connection makes deep observation so we can learn and think...It not oly to say 'You need to do more-Today' but it must be 'We' coz soon my time will meet our hard days and we need to remind ourself that 'We need to do more today'.....nice...-Unwritten Soul
