You are not the two that you used to be,
in fact you are lucky to be one of you,
the way it was when you first met,
and got married, way back when,
is nothing less than nothing more,
than a hope of what it was before.

You are not the ones you used to be,
the regrets are more like fantasy,
the reality can never be,
beyond a common dream.

Life and love and everything,
does all it can to make it seem,
as if it were a new -found thing,
when it is the same old wish,
that never had a face.

It is so easy looking back,
at what it was, without regrets,
... You are not the two you used to be,
and you never will be anymore,
... what you will be from this day on,
... is two people going on,
... and on and on!
