You Changed Me Poem by Emmanuel Arunee Mwanza

You Changed Me

Change huh?
Fine call for changes huh?
Okay, cool...you want someone to change or not?
Was it not cool or nice to be told that?
I would be proud
I think you too would
But if I tell you,
You changed me
Don't get it twisted
I mean you made me a lier
Again don't get me wrong
But have a thought for long
Now can you understand where am going?
You changed me,
Now am able to lie to the mood, my mood
Its something new and good to me
I lie to it whenever it tries to conquer me to be sad
I know I won't be...but it thinks I am
Sometimes it may be just a line
'You changed me...' To get to you
Yes...but not all times
So will you understand me if I say you changed me?
If I say you make me laugh?
If I say you make me want to see you more?
Dork, oops sorry
I know you're bright and so able to deduct
Sense and honesty in this all
