You Came In The Morning Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

You Came In The Morning

Rating: 5.0

I woke up listening
To a faint knock on my door
A sweet scent hit
Me as I got down on to the floor

I knew you have
Come to wish me good morning
At the break of dawn
When buds in gardens were blooming

I opened the door
Smiled to see your glowing face
You too smiled back
While playing with your long tress

From your long hair
A garland of jasmine was hanging
Spreading its scent
Around the place where I was staying

With a sweet gait
You came inside to stay for long hour
To play with me and
To soak me with love's divine shower
