You Asked For It Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

You Asked For It

You asked for it

Your email
That came of The Royal Legion...
Bearing a wise comment on man and restaurant'
'We can leave if do not like the food…'
Then reference to new immigrants, refugees:
'They can leave...'
Forced me write:
'It does not make sense if…! '
Your grands ESCAPED of sicknesses, and hunger and persecution
Or lacking religious freedom…

Here they rode horses, pulled their swords and their guns…
Killed and raped, also numbed…

Now you have your claim and demand:
'We must force immigrants to take heed of the words of the oath…'
Then insist:
'It is NOT racism but it is FACTUAL.'
Followed by slogan:
'SPEAK UP, FOR YOUR LAND...SPEAK UP…'
Your forceful 'FIT OR GO' is new to me and my tennis
I shoot it like a ball over net
This round ball you can take in your way
‘Friendship, Enmity, '

Let us live in peace, love; if friends
And go back to the land of grands
If we can't put an end to this fight…

Hear me?
See the balls in your court?

I follow your advice; the email slogan:
'Do not wait till is late…'

Think again and do not complain.
