One day I decided to make you
I had wonderful plans for you
I send you friends to make you smile
I send you words of praise
Take My hand and walk with Me
I have something for you to see
Open your eyes and see the sun as it rise
Step by step, mile by mile
I want you to be happy ‘cause you are Mine
Never will I desert you nor forsake you
I have died on the cross to save you
Feel My touch in your hair on the breeze
See My smile when you look in the mirror
Hear My words of comfort in a friends friendly word
I will always be with you ‘cause you are mine
I have created you for My joy
