Prayer For Japan Poem by Amanda Boucher

Prayer For Japan

Through the rubble and disorder they search for everything
For answers, for loved ones, for God.
How can any of this make sense to the human heart?
The day started like any other day,
but the night came sooner and lasted longer.
Dear Lord, hear our prayers above the raw sound made in disbelieve. Dear Lord, bring light to shine in this dark time.
bring good to lift their spirit and chin again.
Bring comfort in the form of Your presence.
Bring comfort in the form of Your touch.
let Your voice be heard through the wind.
let Your eyes be upon them in the form of a child who find his parents Let Your hand be the one who save an elderly from a painful and lonely death
