Yesterday's Puddles Of Sorrow Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Yesterday's Puddles Of Sorrow

Sycophant and rolling across the dance floor in a jubilant
mood of joy and happiness, taunting and teasing feelings
to join in.

Hesitant, yet wishing to move into the center of things,
letting life lie still in the puddle of yesterday's sorrow,
tears being singled out along the road.

Settled in the darkness of twilight as it fades at last when
eyes are closed in sleep a final time in life, no more to look
upon shores of this earthly life.
