Worn Poem by Jennifer Gordon

Worn

who are you to tell me?
what are you to act like you know me.
you don’t know what I’ve done.
the things that I’ve seen.
the things that I’ve learned.
or how much is left of me.

don’t judge me,
don’t tell me.
don’t act like you can understand me.

step away back up.
Leave the malice in my wonderland
let me fall with the times of sand.
leave me alone
let me go.
you can’t fix me,
I’m far past obsolete
far past broken and beaten
my mind has been exchanged for a broken token.

So here I am
lost and confused
done with my life cause I have been abused.
No more.
No more.
I want no more of this shi t
my patience has finally worn thin.
