Too High Poem by Jennifer Gordon

Too High

Rating: 4.3

The clouds and the colors are no longer
I feel so on top
Like I have become stronger.
All my worries are beneath me.

I feel so high.
It’s like I can fly.

Everything’s talking to me.
The trees, they sing sweet songs to me
Oh how I love there sweet enticing melody.
Oh how they sing great songs to me.
Please don’t save me.
Oh how the wind blows
And it wants to lift me higher and Higher than I know.
How I crave so much I can‘t comprehend this.
Don’t save me. Don’t save me.

I can feel the water pushing me,
As the fire is calming me.
While the wind is lifting me
As the trees talk to me.
I’m getting so high
I can hardly breath,
Somebody save me.

I’m Falling
The darkness is consuming me.
I can feel the fingers grabbing me,
Pulling me lower and lower.
Somebody save me!

The trees are choking me!
The wind is beating me!
The water is drowning me!
The fire is burning me!
Some one please set me free!
