Out of sync, out of time
Tumbling words never rhyme

Words to soothe all the pain
Of tears falling like rain

Magical words that should heal
In the end they're not real

All that exists is the ache
Of the pain that's not fake

Words can never really soothe
Nor troubled soul truly smooth

Yet some comfort they do bring
As through my heart they ring

Venting the madness of the beast
Lessen the insanity at the least

From within and from without
Calm the beast without a doubt

Out of sync, out of time
