Woman, God's master Piece. Poem by Nabakishore Dash

God took more time
to create a woman.
She has to shoulder more burdens
for continuation of species than man.
A woman
is a daughter,
a sister,
a wife,
a daughter in law,
a mother and the first teacher
for her children.
Even as a wife her role is varied;
serves her husband like
a mother in the morning,
loves him like a sister in the day and
pleases him like a call girl in the night.

She has to heal herself when unwell,
attends to sickness of all.
Performs all her chores to keep everyone okay,
capable of working eighteen hours a day.

Her hug must have the ability
to heal any thing from a bruised
knee to a broken heart.
Tries to support and balance both sides
(father's and in law's)
for their comfort.

She is an example of extreme tenderness;
she is charming, charismatic
but forbearing and confident at the same time.
Soft inside and out side like seedless grape.

Her eyes are ocean of tears
for expressing sorrow, doubts, love,
loneliness, suffering and happiness.
Her sacrificial life,
physical possessions can amaze a male,
her love is unconditional.
God thought He created a woman
full of perfection,
a diamond of the first water and
selfless service contributor,
but found that she has one drawback
'She often forgets her value of
being invaluable to society and man'.
