Without Facebook Poem by Randy McClave

Without Facebook

Rating: 5.0

Around the world a trip I took
I went alone without my Facebook,
Different cities and countries I have went
And not one friend request, or tag was sent.
Not one watch party did I initiate
Not one word of Facebook did I write or dictate,
When I climbed to the top of a memorial steeple
It was me and not the actions of other Facebook people.
I went to eat at the finest restaurants there
No one talked about lying, or cheating, or an affair,
Then I went and visited a beautiful historic site
About it I didn't have to write.
I was gone for two memorable glorious weeks
I found the peace and solitude that many seeks,
Happy and joyous I was when at home I finally arrived
Knowing without Facebook,I happily survived.

Wonderful. I once was on Facebook, but deleted my account when I found I was wasting a humongous amount of time.
