With Tigers Clowns And Friend Poem by A. P. Hancock

With Tigers Clowns And Friend

Grab your coat it's time to go, the circus starts today
No excuses no I can’ts, we're all but on our way,

I got us seats up front, row one, we'll see it all and more
We'll be so near the lion king, we'll feel his giant roar

We'll see the funny dancing bears, laugh at the bozo guys
And when the wire man almost falls, we'll cover up our eyes

We'll watch the giant pachyderms, that elephant parade
We'll both enjoy the talking seals, and the prancing horse brigade

We'll have ourselves a treat or two, the candied apple kind
Perhaps we'll have some cracker jacks, and see what prize we find

And when it's through we'll stroll on home, sorry it had to end
But we'll be glad for a fun-filled night, with tigers, clowns and friend
