With All My Heart Poem by Hafeni Nghidinua

With All My Heart

Whatever you do
Wherever you go
Whatever you chase
Run with the wind
And a joyful sprint
And go with all your heart

We had our troubles
We fought the tide
The rocky shores
And suddenly
There in the dark
We were laying
Defeated apart
A neon light
Split the night
And I realised
That I had Fought
With half my heart
Patiently waiting
For us to end

It is never the end
No battle is ever lost
I run, I stumble,
I fall
But the sun rises
And I run again

I run to you
Wherever you go
Though fate decrees
That it's not meant to be
Our destiny
Is what we chose
When we chose
With unbreakable resolve
And my unbreakable resolve
Is that I am hopelessly in love
With every being that you are
So, I'll go wherever you go
I'll run to you
With a joyful sprint
And with all my heart.
