Wish Poem by NAMAN SEHGAL

Wish

Rating: 5.0

I wish I could tell her, what all she means to me,
I wish I could tell her, the dreams she makes me see,
The voices in my head and the warmth in my heart,
My feelings oozing out, whenever I hear her laugh,
The sweetness of her voice, the glamour of her charm,
The brightness in her eyes and the softness of her palm.

I wish I could tell her, the story in my mind,
My visions of the future, her destiny entangled with mine,
The dreams of great vacations, of journeys far and wide,
Distant sunsets in the mountains and starry eyed nights,
Of long walks in the forests, fine dining and wine.

I wish I could tell her, my yearnings and pains,
The want of seeing her, my efforts shot down in vain,
The pinch of small talks, few calls and no mails,
Of unsaid words, of thoughts insane...

The sound of thunder, my eyes lay awake,
I feel a little scared, because she's not here today.
The missing warmth of her breath, the missing weight of her arm,
The soft grip of her hands, holding tight onto my heart.
How I wish this dream, would not be an impossible ask,
How I wish these moments, would soon come and pass,
How I wish one day, I find you in my arms,
Reading these lines together and having a laugh...
