Wisdom And Understanding Poem by Merit Writes

But where shall wisdom be found?
and where is the place of understanding?
Who knows the price to be paid?
or can it be found in the land of the living! .

The depth says,
It is not in me,
and the sea says,
It is not with me.

Understanding,
Can it be traded with Gold? ,
Can it be value like Gold of Ophir? ,
Silver and Crystal cannot equal it,
The Topaz of Ethopia is of no match,
No mention shall be made of Coral,
For the price of Wisdom is above rubbies.

Where then cometh Wisdom? ,
Where is the place of understanding? ,
Hidden from the eye of all living,
and kept close from the fowls of the air.

Destruction and Death say,
We have heard the fame thereof,
but God understand the way,
and knows the place thereof.

And unto man God said,
Behold,
The fear of the Lord,
That is Wisdom,
And to depart from evil,
That is understanding.
