Good Night Poem by Merit Writes

Good Night

Here comes the night;
the hour I yearned for,
the dinner I'm after,
I hear the crickets chirping,
at a nearby pool,
singing me a sweet lullaby,
that lay me into the juicy hand of slumber,
pull off my trouser, when I forget to say, goodnight.
