Father Adam Poem by Merit Writes

Father Adam

Rating: 1.0

My name is Adam,
and I guess you are Eve,
for God caused me great slumb,
and out of my rib,
You were taken,
to be my own companion.

I have domain over them,
over the bird and fishes,
for I named them,
the Lion bows to my word,
seems I own the world,
with you Eve, am a complete spice.

I am the king of Eden,
and you are my queen,
Go forth and North,
have the taste of every fruit,
but not of the fruit of life,
situated in the belt of Eden.

And here comes Eve,
walking majestically to my cave,
holding the fruit of life,
which I couldn't identity,
'eat this, for you will be like God',
and I need to her word.

And my eyes were opened,
standing before me,
she is naked,
we tread different path,
in search of cloth,
and we were ashamed,
for we have sinned.

Have soiled my name,
and now am ashame,
I hear the Almighty's voice,
gripped with fear, I can't come out,
'Who told you are naked',
with my woman,
I was chased out of Eden,

To my Wonderful Eden,
my beautiful garden,
Am sorry,
As I bid you bye
