Winter Poem by David Pass

Winter

Rating: 5.0

The festive season’s here once more
The snow will soon be deep
The squirrels gather nuts to store
And dormice go to sleep

The days are getting very short
Orion’s riding high
Most Christmas presents have been bought
But some I’ve yet to buy

Christmas carols I love to sing
And parties are just swell
In Jesu’s memory we bring
Gifts to those not so well

Beautiful rendition of words to utmost justice. Lovely poem elegantly written to commemorate the birth of Christ. Thanks for sharing Dave.
