Never to turn your back on me?
People cannot be there always
For they do not care

Will you give me peace?
Like no one has before
People cannot give peace
For they cause the trouble

Will you guide me?
Show me the way I am to take
People cannot guide
For they only see the present

Will you watch over me?
Make sure that I am safe
People cannot watch
For they only watch over their own lives

Will you love me?
Give me satisfaction that I am loved
People cannot love as you do
For your love is unique
