Will the sky brighten today
Will the rain just fade away
Will we have a warm dry spell
Will it make us all feel well

Will the sun warm up the air
Will we be happy without a care

Will the sun be here to stay
Will the clouds chase it away

Will the sunshine last for long
Will the birds all be in song
Will the people laugh and smile
Will they stop and talk a while

Will the flowers sprout and bloom
Will the scent dispel the gloom
Will the rain come down again
Will the robin sing his refrain

Will the sea be cool and calm
Will the children be safe from harm
Will they paddle hand in hand
Will they build castles in the sand

Will the moon be a shining light
Will the stars all twinkle bright
Will the darkness slowly creep
Will it herald the time to sleep.
