A Lovers Kiss Poem by Alison Gaff

A Lovers Kiss

Rating: 5.0

Its a mizzle, drizzle morning
Dark grey blanket clouds above
It really is quite miserable
Unless you are in love

The rivers grey and muddy
With trees shrouded in a mist
It really rather dreary
Waiting for a lovers kiss

The rains so fine, can't feel it fall
But it dampens all your clothes
Now you're thinking was it worth it
Then he turns up with a rose

Suddenly it brightens up
And you forget about the rain
Even if he turned up late
He's here, so do not complain

Amazing how love can alter your perception of a bleak atmosphere. Yep, that's what love does! Good job!
