Wildfires Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Wildfires

Wildfires

The leaping orange and yellow flames
Endangered nature and filled the skies into gray.
The crashing of the homes and cars
Were unbelievable.

It made one wonder what this was all about.
The global warming theory came to fruition
And destroyed everything in site.
Where did all the GREEN go?
