Why I Won'T Get Out Of Bed Poem by Melody Stargaze

Why I Won'T Get Out Of Bed

My body stiff, my mind blank,
What has happened to me?
There's only myself to thank,
There's no choice but to leave.

Why must we fight like we do?
Why are there bruises to spare?
Not long ago I said I loved you,
But now we're far from there.

The screaming echoes within,
My scatches remain,
Our patience for 'us' grew thin,
But what exactly did we gain?

The love that was gold is now black,
What we had is dead.
There's no way I would come back,
So I'll just lay in this hospital bed.
