Why Do I Need A Gun Poem by Randy McClave

Why Do I Need A Gun

Why do I need a gun
I have God,
I do not need to attack or run
Or wear a killers facade.
I don't need to own a Glock
Or a Smith & Wesson,
I will not kill any of the flock
Life indeed is a lesson.
I will always walk the path
That the Lord through love has laid,
I will not ever suffer his wrath
Or ignore the blood that was paid.
Why do I need a gun
I just need the Lord and the Bible,
Without it life is done
Only one indeed is for true survival.
Why should I listen to those
Who constantly speak lies and hate,
Peace and help they violently oppose
Hell definitely is their fate.
You can give me all your thoughts
Why a gun I should own
But, I'll still hear the cry's and the shots
When a gun owner for his rights begins to moan.
There are no guns in paradise
But, indeed they are all in hell,
Death and pain is a gun's price
With them the Devil does always prevail.
Why do I need a gun
With the excuse to protect or to kill,
I will always remember the son
Who was murdered on the hill.
