Why Did This Happen To Me Poem by Randy McClave

Someone will get very sick or terminally Ill
Because they didn't listen to the doctors to take a shot or a pill,
Then they and their family will be confused and will start crying
When they find out that they are now dying.
Finally with the physicians findings they will all agree,
They will then say, why did this happen to me.

Someone is not wearing a seatbelt while they are driving
To their destination they speed for their early arriving,
Then they are in a terrible car accident
Then to the hospital they are quickly sent.
They had plowed into another car and then into a tree,
They then wonder in and out of consciousness, why did this happen to me.

Someone bought themselves a brand new hand gun
Because they thought owning one would be cool and also fun,
Then out of hate they pulled the trigger
When they wanted to look tougher and feel bigger.
Now they are on trial for murder in the first degree,
They now think, why did this happen to me.

Someone decided to lead a life of sin
By cheating, lying, breaking promises and greed over and over again,
They were then told to find Jesus and then be saved
But, they decided to leave their road to salvation unpaved.
In Hell they will now spend their eternity,
Forever they will think, why did this happen to me.
